Seraphinus is back and I am totally happy that the little pyromaniac will be back in form. He will be back in the form of a dreaming (or open eyed, haven't fully decided until I see them) Fairyland Breakaway '08 - Blue Midnight version. Photography courses + Guernsey = Win?

Is what I'm going to do. I really like the look of the courses (maybe not so much the price but it'll be worth it, right?) and they look creditable and professional. I'm pretty determined to do it actually. The rough plan is to do them in the beginning of the year and then spend the rest of the year working to help pay rent and building up a portfolio in Guernsey and the surrounding islands (Jersey, Sark and Herm).

It means leaving Waterstones but I might as well get into photography now whilst I have found something I really want to go for. And it means I can stay near to Pat. Because I really miss him, so it's just a plus. I would do the course even if he wasn't there. I just have to talk to my mum about it. I've spoken to my dad and he said to go for it *shocked*

I've also spoken to Pat about it. He says if he has a flat I can stay with him (if he doesn't I have heard that there are lots of hotel jobs that offer accommodation too). I'd love to be closer to him and Guernsey is such a beautiful place that I think this move will be really good for me.

I have an update! Felicity's head is in the UK and hopefully should get here by Friday.

After the major cockup with the previous person who was meant to be doing Fel's faceup I think I have sorted out a new one. I am just waiting to hear from them :)

Oh, and random news ~ I saw an otter today :o In Reading. Dirty dirty Reading. I was amazing!

Right now, I can say that whilst my dolls may look pretty in the photos I've been taking, I hate every single image I have done. I no longer know what to take photos of, how to, or ways to make them more interesting. I can't think of themes. Looking over my Deviant art, all of my photos look the same. Photography is what I strive for, but I never have any inspiration. If I don't have inspiration, then I won't take photos and will end up with a load of dolls sitting around doing shit all.

I've looked on DOA at critique things and what not. How to edit photos (mine all look....wrong? or "fake" to me) and using backdrops but I just don't really know where to go from there. I can't afford any new equiptment like flash guns or more lenses so that's out of the window.

I know there are people out there who like some of my photos...I just don't know why. I feel like I'm letting them AND myself down ;_;

I want some chocolate :(
